HOME MADE AIR COOLER

                                            


ABSTRACT:

This is really awesome project totally made at college . This is simple but most reliable  project cool the air on the principal of water evaporation.it has many different names in different countries. But motly known as  water air cooler.

INTRODUCTION:

Air cooling is a method of dissipating heat. It works by expanding the surface area or increasing the flow of air over the object to be cooled, or both. An example of the former is to add cooling fins to the surface of the object, either by making them integral or by attaching them tightly to the object's surface (to ensure efficient heat transfer). In the case of the latter, it is done by using a fan blowing air into or onto the object one wants to cool. The addition of fins to a heat sink increases its total surface area, resulting in greater cooling effectiveness.

REQURIEMENTS:

3.hydraulic motor (0.5 hp)

PRINCIPLE OF AIR COOLER

The principal air cooler  cool the air of the water evaporation .(the absorbing water  the latent heat 

Make the home made air cooler.

Step 1:  make the  the box about 15, 15 cm
              Cut out the blocks neatly and save these blocks and the circles from the fans you cut out earlier. we might need it later.
Step 2: Make the Fans' Slots in the  the box 
            a)Place your fans and hydraulic Motor inside the box 
            b)Trace the fans with a marker the make a shape for cutting out.
            c)When done, make sure the fans  and hydraulic motor fit nice and tightly in their slots and let's move on to making the vents now.
Step 3: Take some water. You can use plain water  causes it to freeze at below the freezing point of pure water hence making the ice colder.
Step 4 :  now give to the power supply .switch on the fans and place them in their slots. Now enjoy a cool breeze from absorbing the water from the box through run Hydraulic motor and fan.
Step 5:  Let's Test It Now.
       Its (30-25)degrees celcius out here and I placed my AC about a meter away from the thermometer.
     Within a couple of minutes the temperature drops from 25 to a more relaxing 19 degrees. And this is in the heat outside. In a confined space like a room, it's going to perform even better.
This is more like a one person cooler and works great if you’re alone and don’t want to switch on the AC to cool down the whole room or if you have a kid, just keep it next to the cot and let your little on relax.

FUTURE SCOPE

      In  this air cooler after evaporation of water partcles we kept in water filters in this filters to collect the dust particles then give to the cool water .in this cool water using drinking purpose .
