FEATURES AND APPLICATIONS
The braking system of an automobile ensures safe running of vehicle by controlling it precisely whenever it faces obstacles. Delay in application of brakes may leads to severe accidents. Hence in this project an attempt is made to develop automatic braking system which will be activated whenever it senses an obstacle using ultrasonic rays. It is basically a Mechatronic system uses an ultrasonic emitter and receiver which can be fixed to the front bumper of vehicle to sense the obstacles at a predetermined distance and then activating the brakes automatically in correct time by using a micro controller.
